Your area of work
Trade Venue Regulation & Governance oversees the European and National regulatory framework applicable to trading venues considered as exchanges and its operators as well as multilateral trading facilities. It designs implements and executes compliant solutions balancing the financial markets and regulators interests while it continuously monitors the regulatory landscape. The team also contributes to regulatory consultations and maintains rulebooks to reflect new regulatory requirements. As an integral part of a mid-sized team with low hierarchies you will play a major role in the design of a future target operating model to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements applicable for the most important trading venues.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyse and assess regulatory reporting requirements applicable to trading venues especially Eurex Deutschland and the Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse mainly resulting from MiFID/MiFIR and Market Abuse Regulation (MAR)
  • Support the implementation of regulatory reporting requirements by contributing to business analysis process design and solution testing activities
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support the assessment of their impact on reporting processes systems and controls
  • Serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders and assist in responding to inquiries from competent authorities and trading participants
  • Collaborate with business IT compliance and other stakeholders to drive the implementation of regulatory reporting requirements
  • Perform reporting quality checks investigate reporting issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes data quality and controls
  • Prepare management reports regulatory communications documentation and presentations

Your profile

  • Successful University degree in Law Business Administration Economics Finance or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years professional experience in regulatory reporting capital markets compliance market regulation or a related area
  • Basic understanding of financial market regulation preferably including MiFID II MiFIR and/or MAR
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex regulatory requirements combined with a structured solution-oriented and detail-focused approach
  • Affinity for technology data analysis and process improvements; experience with reporting systems automation or data tools is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across functions and stakeholder groups
  • Fluent in German and English both written and spoken
