Project Manager Senior
Job Summary
Nextlink is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage IT projects from initiation through successful completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering projects in line with defined objectives scope budget timelines quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
The role involves project planning and execution resource management stakeholder engagement vendor and contract management risk and issue management budget control reporting and project closure. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an international cross-functional environment and coordinating teams across different functions and cultures.
Plan execute monitor and deliver IT projects in accordance with agreed scope timelines budget quality standards and customer expectations.
Define project objectives deliverables milestones resource requirements dependencies and success criteria.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans schedules budgets RAID logs and project documentation.
Coordinate and manage international cross-functional project teams actively supporting effective collaboration across cultural and geographical boundaries.
Manage project resources including allocation capacity planning performance and utilization.
Establish and coordinate effective interactions with key stakeholders including:
Business Management
IT Management
Information Security organizations
Solution Architects
Other IT departments
External vendors and service providers
Project sponsors and business stakeholders
Maintain a strong customer and end-user focus throughout the project lifecycle ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly understood and addressed.
Manage project scope requirements dependencies risks issues assumptions and change requests.
Coordinate procurement and third-party engagements where required including vendor and contract management.
Monitor project progress against milestones budget resources and quality objectives taking corrective action where necessary.
Identify and proactively manage project risks issues dependencies and escalations.
Facilitate project meetings workshops steering committees and stakeholder discussions.
Prepare and present regular project status updates and highlight reports to the IT Stream Lead Project Sponsor and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure effective communication between technical teams business stakeholders management and external partners.
Support quality assurance activities and ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards.
Manage project closure including completion of deliverables documentation lessons learned handover and resource release.

Comprehensive understanding of multiple IT technologies and technology programs/packages.
Understanding of IT infrastructure components including hardware software networks databases and related IT services.
Awareness of Information Security Management principles and practices.
Understanding of Data Centre operations and infrastructure environments.
Interest in and working knowledge of cloud computing technologies particularly Microsoft Azure.
Understanding of Collaboration Services and Active Directory.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project JIRA Trello Asana or equivalent platforms.
Basic understanding of programming languages software development processes and application development lifecycles.
Ability to understand system architecture and how different technology components and interfaces interact.
Understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies.
Basic awareness of cybersecurity principles controls and best practices.
Experience with Document Management Solutions is an advantage.

Experience managing complex projects involving multiple technology teams interfaces dependencies and external providers.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder communication and project reporting.
Experience in an energy or utility company environment is preferred.
Experience working with third-party suppliers procurement processes and contracts is an advantage.

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Business Administration Project Management or a related discipline is preferred.

Fluent English is required with strong written and verbal communication skills due to the international working environment.
Candidates with a proven track record of managing IT projects within the energy and utility sector are preferred. Experience working in large complex regulated or multinational organizations will be considered an advantage.
