Project Manager Cyber Protection Services Group Security (fmd)

Your area of work:

Provide senior project management and technical capabilities to the Cyber Protection team ensuring delivery of complex cybersecurity initiatives and actively challenging technical solutions.

• Lead and take end-to-end ownership of medium to large Cyber Security projects from initiation to implementation and value realization
• Drive effective planning execution and tracking of cybersecurity initiatives including regulatory-driven topics
• Act as a technical counterpart to security teams: challenge designs validate approaches and drive pragmatic implementation
• Ensure delivery of Cyber Protection Services projects on time within budget and with high quality standards
• Proactively manage and follow up on risks issues actions and decisions driving resolution and accountability across stakeholders
• Provide central coordination and governance actively monitoring deviations and driving corrective actions with teams stakeholders and senior management
• Lead change and project management activities including direct engagement and negotiation with internal stakeholders and external vendors of technical solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Group Security IT and business units to ensure aligned and integrated solutions
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness embedding security and compliance considerations into project planning and execution
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity capabilities bringing in best practices innovation and where applicable AI-driven approaches or automation opportunities

Your profile:

• University degree in IT Business Informatics or comparable education
• 5 years of experience in IT Cybersecurity or Information Security with at least 3 years leading complex cybersequrity programs and projects
• Strong experience in cybersecurity information security management or security engineering ideally within the financial industry or a similarly regulated environment
• Ability to critically challenge technical designs and propose improvements adding tangible value beyond coordination
• Proven track record in managing complex technical projects with the ability to translate between business and deep technical topics
• Expertise in project management methodologies with the ability to flexibly apply them to fit delivery needs
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence align and drive cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex topics and drive them to clear outcomes
• Ability to make sound decisions in dynamic and high-pressure environments
• Strong capability to prepare and present structured recommendations and decision options to senior management
• Relevant certifications such as PMP PRINCE2 Agile certifications CISSP CISM or equivalent are advantageous
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and concise manner
• Strong analytical mindset reliability and a high sense of ownership
• Experience or strong interest in AI/automation in cybersecurity is a strong plus
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
