Job Summary

Grob Aircraft SE is a leading manufacturer of training and special mission aircraft flown by air forces flight schools and operators in more than 30 countries. As an EASA-approved Design Production and Maintenance Organisation (Part 21J / 21G / Part 145) we develop build and support CS-23 certified aircraft including the G 120TP and the G 115 family.

Your Role

As a Production / Industrial Engineer you ensure that our aircraft are manufactured efficiently reliably and to the highest quality standards. You analyze and optimize production processes drive continuous improvement and play a key role in industrializing new assemblies and aircraft programs - with a direct impact on the way mission-critical aircraft are built.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analysis planning and optimization of production and manufacturing processes

  • Identification and implementation of improvement measures with regard to quality lead time and cost

  • Creation maintenance and further development of work plans manufacturing documents and production standards

  • Support for the introduction of new products and manufacturing processes

  • Close collaboration with production engineering quality assurance purchasing and logistics

  • Conducting process analyses and value stream mapping

  • Contribution to investment projects and the procurement of production equipment

  • Support for capacity and resource planning

  • Handling of manufacturing deviations and development of sustainable solutions

  • Participation in lean management and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support for the industrialization of new assemblies and aircraft programs

Your Profile
  • Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering aerospace engineering production engineering industrial engineering or a comparable qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in a production environment ideally in aviation the automotive industry or a comparable industrial setting

  • Experience in the optimization of manufacturing and production processes

  • Knowledge of lean management CIP value stream analysis or comparable methods is an advantage

  • Technical understanding of complex assemblies and manufacturing processes

  • Experience working with ERP systems and standard MS Office applications

  • Structured and solution-oriented working style

  • Strong communication skills and a pronounced hands-on mentality

  • Good command of German both written and spoken
