Product Designer (mfd) Physical Products & AI home decor brand 100 remote part-fulltime

For my client an established direct-to-consumer home decor brand Im looking for a talented Product Designer to join the team on a long-term basis.

The company creates distinctive wooden home decor for customers primarily in the US with a strong focus on wall art alongside selected freestanding pieces.

Were looking for someone who combines a strong design eye with commercial thinking and hands-on AI skills someone who can turn ideas and market insights into products customers genuinely want to buy.

Your main responsibility will be to develop new sellable physical products from idea to launch.

Youll identify promising product opportunities through a mix of market and competitor research emerging trends existing bestsellers and your own creative ideas.

From there youll take concepts through the full development process:

• Create and visualize new product concepts using AI image-generation tools
• Refine ideas into commercially viable product directions
• Collaborate with CAD designers to translate concepts into manufacturable designs
• Work with suppliers and factories throughout sampling and development
• Coordinate with the content and advertising teams to prepare products for launch
• Manage several product concepts and development projects in parallel

• Hands-on experience with AI image generation using tools such as Nano Banana Adobe Firefly Flux or similar
• Experience designing physical products not solely graphic digital or UX/UI design
• A strong eye for aesthetics form and commercial product design demonstrated through a portfolio
• Highly organized reliable and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluent English

Strong Plus

• Experience in home decor furniture interiors or lifestyle products
• A background working with wood handcrafted products or similar materials
• A strong understanding of US home decor trends and customer preferences
• Experience collaborating with factories manufacturers or suppliers including product sampling and iterations
