THE POSITION
As Portfolio Financial Controller you will provide financial leadership across a portfolio of hotels in Eastern Germany. As the senior finance leader within the cluster you will be responsible for driving financial performance strengthening governance and supporting business decision-making across multiple properties.
Beyond managing financial outcomes you will play a key role in building a high-performing cluster finance function by connecting teams embedding best practices and creating greater alignment across hotels. Working closely with General Managers Owners and Regional Leadership you will translate financial insights into actions that improve profitability operational efficiency and long-term value.
The ideal candidate combines strong hospitality finance expertise with the ability to lead through influence drive change and build collaboration across multiple stakeholders and locations.
The position requires regular travel between properties across Eastern Germany.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee financial operations reporting budgeting forecasting and financial performance across a cluster of various hotels in Germany.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting including owner reporting and audit coordination.
Monitor key financial and operational KPIs including cash flow labour costs productivity purchasing controls and profitability.
Drive consistency standardisation and continuous improvement of financial processes controls and reporting practices across all properties.
Lead support and coordinate multiple finance teams fostering collaboration and alignment between hotels.
Conduct regular financial reviews and provide strategic insights and recommendations to General Managers Owners and senior stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company policies internal controls and relevant financial regulations.
Support change management initiatives new system implementations and the integration of Odyssey Hotel Group standards and ways of working.
Build strong relationships with hotel leadership teams owners asset managers and external partners.
Travel regularly between properties to provide financial oversight support and stakeholder engagement.

WHAT YOULL BRING
Bachelor/Masters degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of finance leadership experience within hospitality.
Previous experience overseeing multiple properties regions or clusters.
Strong understanding of hotel financial operations reporting cycles budgeting forecasting and controlling.
Experience working with hotel owners asset managers and senior stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead change management initiatives process improvements or organisational transformations.
Experience working with long-established teams and driving alignment across different business units.
Fluent German and English.
