ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a Paid Media Manager who will own the end-to-end planning execution and optimization of member-based paid media campaigns across programmatic social and app channels.
This role is equal parts strategy and execution. You will work backwards from member needs and business goals to build scalable campaign frameworks develop segmentation and targeting strategies and drive measurable improvements in engagement and retention. You will serve as a central point of coordination across marketing product content and analytics teams. You will manage complex timelines and budgets and deliver results with high quality and operational rigor.
This role requires thinking big about what member engagement can look like while diving deep into the data the ad-serving mechanics and the day-to-day execution that makes it real. It demands a strong bias for action a track record of inventing and simplifying campaign workflows and the ability to earn trust across a diverse set of stakeholders. Ownership extends beyond individual campaigns to the outcomes they drive.
As a Paid Media Engagement Marketing Manager you will
- Own the end-to-end delivery of member-based paid media campaigns (programmatic social app) supporting member engagement gifting and potential loyalty programs
- Work backwards from business objectives and member insights to develop customer segmentation targeting and personalization strategies that improve campaign relevance and performance
- Serve as the central project owner across cross-functional stakeholders (marketing product content analytics) proactively managing timelines budgets dependencies risks and contingency plans to ensure SLA compliance
- Dive deep into campaign performance data; surface actionable insights deliver clear recommendations and implement continuous optimization cycles
- Champion a test-and-learn culture design experiments define KPIs and measure incrementality to inform future strategy
- Invent and simplify by proactively leveraging Amazons AI tools (e.g. machine learning natural language processing) and emerging ad technologies to streamline campaign production automate workflows and improve marketing effectiveness
- Stay current on best practices across performance media emerging channel capabilities and industry trends; advocate for adoption where they raise the bar for our members
- Identify and drive process improvements across end-to-end campaign workflows removing friction and increasing speed-to-market

- Experience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast-moving environment
- Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience in paid media / performance marketing either in-house or at a media agency
- Experience in end-to-end digital ad operations across multiple channels (app campaigns search social video display) including ad serving methodologies bidding algorithms budget optimization campaign taxonomy and dynamic creative optimization (DCO)
- Experience developing customer segmentation and targeting strategies with a focus on personalization and performance optimization
- Experience tracking and analyzing the customer journey across multiple channels and touchpoints
- Experience in subscription-based or membership business models
- Direct experience planning and executing member engagement or retention campaigns (vs. acquisition only)
- Experience working with Amazon Ads platforms DSPs or internal Amazon marketing tools
- Comfort operating in a highly matrixed cross-functional organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
