Job Summary
- In constant exchange with local IT/OT functions oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of manufacturing hardware and software including PLC SCADA HMI and MES systems
- Develop roll-out and take account for a global operational security strategy covering all OT assets in the companys industrial and production environments
- Assess current and new vendors for equipment software and support services in their ability to build and deliver secure OT applications and systems
- Report to governing bodies (e. g. Interroll Security Board) concerning new and emerging cyber threats
- Implement uniform OT technology configurations and protocols to the degree applicable in order to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance security
- Create a network of local OT responsibles within the production companies together with MDs/Head of plants
- Actively cooperate with central IT functions in the upcoming network segmentation process increasing OT safety against malware and cyberattacks
- Visit plants conducting assessments concerning information security risks related to software hardware third-party applications
- Master Degree in electrical engineering electronics engineering automation computer science or comparable
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of industrial automation/ITOT in a manufacturing environment
- Deep knowledge of OT relevant frameworks (e.g. industrial control systems SCADA etc.)
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) as well as integrating OT level with MES
- Certified professional knowledge concerning cybersecurity frameworks (e. g. IEC 62443 NIST SP 800-82 and ISO/IEC 27001)
- Min. C1 in English and German additional languages a strong plus
- Willingness for frequent international travel is required
- High capabilities in problem solving and prioritization with proven capability of handling high-pressure situations troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues to prevent equipment downtime
- Experience in managing projects of adequate size including budgeting and resource allocation as well as experience in vendor management
