Line Manager (mfd)

We at Leggett & Platt Incorporated are searching for aLine Manager (m/f/d) within our Production team to help support our Hydraulics business at our Pacoma branch inEschwege Germany.

Pacoma is one of the worlds leading suppliers of hydraulic cylinders. Our cylinders are extensively used in the construction machinery industry the automobile industry and in engineering applications as well as in logistics and material handling. Furthermore our cylinders can also be used in agricultural and maritime applications etc. Pacoma stands out with its individual designs its consistently superior global quality and its high-capacity production facilities. Our factory in Eschwege Germany can singularly handle a quarter million units per year working at normal capacity. With the opening of a dynamic modern facility in China in 2011 Pacoma is even better positioned to serve its customers with high output and convenient logistics. Our success is the product of decades of experience. Over the course of more than 40 years we have developed designed and produced hydraulic cylinders of nearly every possible type. As a Line Manager (m/f/d) you will drive operational excellence and make a real impact on our manufacturing this key leadership role you will combine strong people management skills analytical thinking and a passion for continuous improvement to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. You will lead your team to achieve ambitious targets while fostering a culture of safety quality innovation and operational excellence.

Additionally youll:

• Ensure a safe stable and efficient production flow within the manufacturing line
• Provide both functional and disciplinary leadership to production employees including onboarding training qualification and development
• Drive the achievement of key performance targets related to safety quality delivery reliability and productivity
• Initiate and implement sustainable improvement measures to enhance efficiency product quality and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with all EHS (Environment Health & Safety) requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and actively promote a culture of innovation collaboration and operational excellence

To be successful in this role youll need:

• Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Master Technician State-Certified Technician or a comparable technical qualification
• Proven experience in leading and developing employees within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Experience in production planning manufacturing control or operational production management
• Proficiency in ERP systems and standard Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical skills combined with a high affinity for numbers and performance metrics
• Structured solution-oriented and self-driven working style
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions
• High level of commitment resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Fluent German language skills
