We are looking for a Legal Counsel Enterprise Contracting EMEA to join our Enterprise Contracting this role you will provide pragmatic legal advice negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and drive contracting excellence across the EMEA region while supporting digital transformation automation and AI-enabled contracting solutions.
The Role:
- Draft review negotiate and manage a variety of commercial agreements across the EMEA region including (Master) Services Agreements Healthcare Professional and Health Care Organization agreements Patient agreements Confidential Disclosure Agreements and related contracts.
- Provide practical risk-based legal advice that supports business objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates playbooks and contracting processes to improve efficiency and consistency across the organization.
- Deliver training and guidance to business partners on contracting topics and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement automation and legal innovation.
- Support the implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management tools and AI-enabled contracting solutions.
- Collaborate with legal colleagues and business partners across multiple countries and cultures throughout the EMEA region.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Qualified lawyer with the required legal qualifications to practice in an EMEA jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm and/or international corporate environment.
- Strong experience in commercial contracting contract drafting and negotiations.
- Fluency in German and English. Additional EMEA language skills are an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to balance legal risk with commercial priorities and provide clear actionable advice.
- Experience working across jurisdictions and in multicultural environments.
- Interest in legal technology automation AI and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical biotechnology healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Exposure to legal operations legal engineering process optimization or design thinking methodologies.
- Experience working with Contract Lifecycle Management systems and digital contracting solutions.
