Our Leipzig International Kindergarten opened in June 2014 provides over 270 children aged 1 to 6 with a full-day early education programme. We are fortunate to be working in an attractive purpose-built facility that hosts a wide range of indoor classrooms and play spaces as well as a spacious landscaped outdoor learning environment.
Responsible for implementing and following the sign-out procedure from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. This involves:
- Ensuring that all parents/legal guardians sign out their children when picking them up from Kindergarten
- Ensuring that pick-up permissions for authorised persons collecting children are up to date
- Checking IDs when necessary
- Engaging and interacting with children and parents as a positive adult role model while they leave; greeting and saying goodbye to children and parents
- Re-shelving returned books and maintaining shelves in a neat accessible and orderly manner

- Reserving specific resources requested by educators
- Maintaining a clean tidy and organised library environment
- Handling school office management and day-to-day operations including incoming and outgoing phone calls and mail correspondence
- Assisting staff members parents/guardians and guests and addressing their inquiries
- Taking daily attendance of staff and learners
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with a friendly professional and service-oriented approach.
- Demonstrate a proactive flexible and solution-focused approach to work.
- Remain calm professional and customer-focused when managing multiple enquiries in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess excellent organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Possess excellent written and spoken English.
- Have German language skills at a minimum of B2 level.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
