We are currently seeking a Junior Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d) to join our international team in this role you will contribute to the development of innovative AI-driven software solutions in the field of biometrics while working in a collaborative agile and supportive engineering environment. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and grow your technical skills across the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain web-based user interfaces as part of an international agile development team
- Contribute to the design development and maintenance of modern software applications across the full stack
- Collaborate with developers designers and product teams to implement user-friendly features and improve application usability
- Support the development of AI-powered video analysis solutions in the biometrics domain
- Participate in code reviews testing debugging and continuous improvement initiatives
- Learn and apply best practices in software development DevOps and agile methodologies
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field
- First professional experience (internship working student position apprenticeship or up to 2 years of experience) in software development
- Good knowledge of Java Python and/or React through academic projects or professional experience
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus
- Interest in AI computer vision or biometrics; previous experience in biometrics is not required
- Familiarity with development tools such as Git; knowledge of Jira and Jenkins is a plus
- Interest in creating intuitive and user-friendly applications
- Strong willingness to learn proactive mindset and good communication and teamwork skills
- Good written and spoken German and English
