Here in Germany you will join a team of around 300 employees and the number continues to grow every day.
To strengthen our team we are looking for a Junior Financial Controller (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date.
Your Responsibility
You support the reporting of the monthly P&L including management commentary for HQ in Paris.
You contribute to the preparation of planning scenarios including rolling forecasts as well as Risk & Opportunities analyses.
You prepare ad hoc analyses for the management team and other key stakeholders.
You closely monitor local COGS and proactively support the Operations team in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
You support the P&L consolidation of markets within the Northern Europe Management Entity (DACH BENELUX UK Ireland & Nordics).
You accompany and support various Group Finance Transformation projects.
You contribute to the continuous development of the existing BI and reporting landscape.
Your Profile
You hold a university degree in business economics with a focus on Controlling/Finance
You possess strong analytical skills and exhibit a hands-on mentality
Your background includes initial experiences (1-2 years) in finance/controlling gained through internships and/or first Junior position
You are recognized for your strong teamwork excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You proactively work independently demonstrating an ability to challenge the status quo and define new ways of working
Proficient in using the MS Office package particularly Advanced Excel
Previous experience with ERP systems (SAP JD Edwards) and BI tools (Tagetik Jedox Power BI) is considered a plus
Your tech savviness sets you apart
You are fluent in both written and verbal German and English
You live in Cologne or nearby
