Internship Performance Analyzis and Optimization of Python-Based Verification for C++ Models

• During your internship your primary mission will be to analyze and improve the performance of Python-based verification environments for C models.
• You will develop and apply profiling as well as benchmarking approaches in order to characterize the execution behavior of different verification scenarios.
• Furthermore you will analyze how different DUT characteristics and verification workloads impact simulation runtime performance as well as scalability.
• In addition you will identify performance bottlenecks investigate their root causes and evaluate optimization approaches to improve verification efficiency.
• Finally you will document and present your findings contributing to the development of reusable performance analyzis as well as optimization methodologies for industrial hardware verification.

Qualifications :

• Education: Master studies in the field of Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Embedded Systems Microsystems Engineering or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge:
  • of Python and profiling benchmarking performance analysis or software optimization
  • basic knowledge of C
  • basic understanding of digital design and simulation concepts
  • familiarity with Linux-based development environments and version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • knowledge of SystemC Verilog/VHDL cocotb pyuvm or UVM beneficial
• Personality and Working Practice: you are a hands-on independent proactive and organized team player who enjoys taking ownership of challenging tasks as well as collaborating in an interdisciplinary environment; you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills a structured results-oriented working style with the ability to understand complex technical systems as well as to communicate technical findings effectively
• Work Routine: a regular on-site presence is required to facilitate collaboration technical discussions and debugging activities
• Enthusiasm: for performance analyzis software optimization and simulation technologies
• Languages: very good in English
