We are looking for a motivated Intern Category Management to join our team and help us curate the perfect selection. This is an exciting opportunity to peek behind the scenes of e-commerce buying and category management in a fast-paced international environment.
This full-time internship (40 hours per week) offers a 6-month hands-on learning experience.
Learn more about our Category Management team and careers at Zalando: WED LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING) Support Daily Buying Operations: Work closely with Buyers and Merchandise Planners to manage order maintenance ensure quality objectives and secure seamless delivery dates with external suppliers. Drive Master Data Excellence: Take full ownership of key administrative systems within the team managing accurate product master data and creating clear functional Excel spreadsheets for tracking. Streamline Supplier Communication: Act as a reliable point of contact for international suppliers independently handling order follow-ups and operational queries. Contribute to Strategic Team Projects: Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and deliver analytical insights to continuously improve our category portfolio performance. Academic Background: You currently study / or have a background in Business Administration Economics Fashion/Design or a related field. Analytical & Tech-Savvy Mindset: You feel comfortable working with numbers possess strong analytical skills and have a good command of MS Office (especially Excel). Clear Communication & Negotiation: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and feel confident building open professional relationships with international stakeholders and suppliers. Passion for Fashion & E-Commerce: You have a genuine enthusiasm for the fashion industry and continuous interest in consumer trends and category management. Practical Experience (Recommended): Having previous experience in a working student role or prior internship environment is recommended though not mandatory.
