Your Tasks

The Global Design-to-Print (D2P) team is responsible for driving packaging artwork excellence print standardization and process optimization across Beiersdorfs international brand portfolio. As an intern you will contribute to a strategic project focused on analyzing the NIVEA packaging portfolio identifying optimization opportunities within established print standards and supporting internal communication and change management initiatives.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine packaging artwork and print expertise with commercial and business process analysis in a highly international environment.



Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Analyze the global NIVEA packaging portfolio across multiple packaging formats (labels folding boxes tubes cans etc.)
  • Classify products according to predefined print setup standard packages (basic advanced premium)
  • Assess packaging specifications including colors finishing techniques and printing technologies
  • Identify optimization opportunities to reduce complexity and improve cost efficiency
  • Support the evaluation of potential print setup downgrades while maintaining brand and quality requirements
  • Conduct data analysis to identify cost-saving and standardization opportunities
  • Collaborate with Procurement Marketing Packaging Development and Supply Chain functions
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for portfolio optimization
  • Prepare management presentations and project summaries
  • Some of the work must be done on-site in line with the company regulations
Your Profile
  • Enrolled student in Business Administration Business Engineering Packaging Technology Print Technology Media Management Industrial Engineering or a related field or in a Gap Year
  • Initial practical experience or educational background in print production packaging media design or related fields is an advantage
  • Basic understanding ofprinting technologies packaging materials color management and finishing techniques
  • Experience withdata analysis business case development SharePoint digital communication platforms or content management systems is a plus
  • Curious eager to learn and able to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
  • Capable of translating technical information into clear business recommendations
  • Independent proactive and collaborative working style with the ability to work effectively across functions and stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and structured working style
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Advanced MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
