Internship Opportunity

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity in our Business Development team based in Barcelona. As an intern you will play a key role in supporting our market expansion and client acquisition initiatives across Spain and Southern Europe.

What You Will Do

• Research and identify relevant prospects using market intelligence web tools and provided prospect lists
• Prepare and execute LinkedIn and email outbound campaigns crafting compelling messaging tailored to target segments
• Follow up on leads manage response cadence and qualify opportunities for the sales pipeline
• Maintain and update the CRM pipeline in HubSpot ensuring data accuracy and tracking lead progression
• Support light project management across BD initiatives coordinating with internal teams and tracking key metrics
• Contribute to market research and competitive analysis to inform our go-to-market strategy

What We Expect From You

Were looking for proactive detail-oriented individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for building relationships. Heres what we expect:

• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn HubSpot CRM (training provided)
• Experience using AI tools (Claude ChatGPT) for productivity and research is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload while collaborating effectively with the team
• A genuine interest in B2B sales market development and the smart cities sector

Your Profile

• Currently studying a degree in Marketing Business Administration Sales Communications or a related field
• Mandatory internship as part of your curriculum
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
• Based in Barcelona or willing to work fully on-site
• Familiarity with the smart cities sustainability or climate action landscape is a plus though not required
• A proactive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
