Automotive cybersecurity ensures that vehicle functions and systems are protected against cyberattacks and that security risks are identified and mitigated early on. Our team focuses on this critical area and offers you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in automotive cybersecurity development. Youll work on the cybersecurity of future zero-emission powertrain systems and help secure fuel cell technologies for the commercial vehicle sector.

Responsibilities:

  • You will actively support the cross-functional team in implementing and preparing for ISO/SAE 21434 certification

  • You will help define document and track continuous improvement measures and ensure that the measures and findings are implemented by project participants within the specified timeframe

  • In addition you will assist in the creation and ongoing maintenance of cybersecurity processes templates documentation and schedules

  • You will also assist in preparing internal reviews and analyses and in validating cybersecurity measures throughout the development process in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434

  • You will create presentations and dashboards to illustrate the current status of certification preparations

  • You will assist in the use of modern AI tools to analyze and optimize cybersecurity documentation processes and development workflows

Experience andQualification:

  • A degree in computer science cybersecurity electrical engineering automotive engineering or a comparable field of study

  • Interest in and technical understanding of automotive cybersecurity vehicle software development and functional safety

  • Analytical skills and a structured approach to work

  • A strong commitment to quality

  • Teamwork and communication skills

  • Flexibility and a willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics

  • Passion for forward-looking and innovative technologies in the fields of automotive development and cybersecurity

  • Basic knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 automotive cybersecurity software development functional safety and AI tools is a plus

  • Good written and spoken German and English skills

Additional information:

Proof of current enrollment in a degree program with outstanding exams is required.

The position will only be filled full-time for approximately 6 months.
