The Role

Our client is a leading healthcare services business seeking an experienced Interim FP&A leader to strengthen financial planning reporting and performance management capabilities during a period of growth and transformation.

Reporting directly to the CFO the successful candidate will act as a key business partner to the executive team providing insight-driven analysis enhancing forecasting processes and supporting strategic decision-making across a multi-site healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the budgeting forecasting and long-range planning processes.
  • Developing and enhancing KPI reporting dashboards and performance management frameworks.
  • Delivering robust monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
  • Supporting operational leaders with financial insight to improve performance and profitability.
  • Improving FP&A processes systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Driving cash flow forecasting and working capital visibility.
  • Supporting business cases investment appraisals and strategic initiatives.
  • Assisting with M&A integration and value creation projects where required.
  • Providing ad hoc analysis and decision support to the CFO CEO and wider leadership team.
  • Managing and developing the FP&A team and broader finance stakeholders.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Significant FP&A leadership experience within healthcare healthcare services multi-site businesses or similarly complex service-led environments.
  • Strong financial modelling forecasting budgeting and performance management expertise.
  • Proven ability to operate in fast-paced changing environments.
  • Experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise; experience with BI and reporting tools is highly desirable.
  • Previous interim transformation private equity-backed or high-growth experience would be advantageous.
