Interim FP&A
Job Summary
Our client is a leading healthcare services business seeking an experienced Interim FP&A leader to strengthen financial planning reporting and performance management capabilities during a period of growth and transformation.
Reporting directly to the CFO the successful candidate will act as a key business partner to the executive team providing insight-driven analysis enhancing forecasting processes and supporting strategic decision-making across a multi-site healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the budgeting forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Developing and enhancing KPI reporting dashboards and performance management frameworks.
- Delivering robust monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
- Supporting operational leaders with financial insight to improve performance and profitability.
- Improving FP&A processes systems and reporting capabilities.
- Driving cash flow forecasting and working capital visibility.
- Supporting business cases investment appraisals and strategic initiatives.
- Assisting with M&A integration and value creation projects where required.
- Providing ad hoc analysis and decision support to the CFO CEO and wider leadership team.
- Managing and developing the FP&A team and broader finance stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Significant FP&A leadership experience within healthcare healthcare services multi-site businesses or similarly complex service-led environments.
- Strong financial modelling forecasting budgeting and performance management expertise.
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced changing environments.
- Experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with a commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise; experience with BI and reporting tools is highly desirable.
- Previous interim transformation private equity-backed or high-growth experience would be advantageous.
