Job Summary
Your tasks:
- Leading and developing the Mechanical Design Team
- Management of external and internal resources including ensuring adherence to deadlines
- Oversight of ongoing projects support and approval including designs calculations layouts and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with technical standards safety regulations and quality requirements
- Continuous improvement of processes tools and methods
- Strengthening cost competitiveness through design-to-cost strategies and standardization
- Collaboration with other departments
Required profile:
- Bachelors or masters degree in engineering with a focus on mechanical design and/or plant engineering or process engineering
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience ideally in the field of furnace technology/heat treatment
- Leadership skills technical expertise and intercultural competence
- Proficiency in working with 2D and 3D CAD systems as well as PDM systems
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Occasional travel (worldwide)
