Head of logistics implementation and improvement (all genders)

Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end logistics transformation required to support the shift from local to centralized sourcing of the Non-Food assortment (Project STELLAR). Drive the design and implementation of an efficient logistics network including warehouse migration and operational readiness across all markets.
Manage complex cross-functional projects involving sourcing supply chain commercial teams country organizations and external partners. Lead the review and renegotiation of Logistics Service Provider (LSP) contracts to ensure cost efficiency service excellence and scalability. Ensure continuity of supply throughout the transition while delivering sustainable operational improvements. Act as the key coordinator and change leader across multiple stakeholders countries and functions.
Implementation
- Serve and support all countries and business units in implementing and operating best-in-class logistics solutions and networks.
- Act as a warehousing transport implementation and change management expert in domestic and international logistics projects including on-site support when required.
- Share logistics implementation know-how and best practices with SCM teams across METRO countries and business units.
- Actively participate in implementation relocation change management and optimization projects.
- Provide guidance logistics expertise and practical experience to ensure successful and smooth project implementation.
- Lead and/or support project teams to ensure structured transparent and efficient project execution delivered on time and within budget.
Continuous Improvement
- Assess local logistics solutions and operations identify areas for improvement and develop improvement plans in alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
- Guide and support METRO countries and business units in establishing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage and roll out successful improvements across METRO countries and business units.
Qualifications :
- University degree in SCM/Logistics and / or engineering and / or economics
- 3 5 years in logistics management and operations and / or logistics consultancy background or
Logistics Service Provider Companies (Solutions Design or Customer Implementation or Business Development) - Wholesale / FMCG experience
- Experience in logistics IT systems
- Working in international environment.
