Grid Connection Manager

Overview

Our client is a leader in the development of large-scale battery storage projects managing the entire lifecycle from permitting design and financing to construction commissioning and long-term asset management. They collaborate with local communities municipalities investors grid operators and energy markets to deliver innovative energy solutions that benefit all stakeholders. Their portfolio includes the largest standalone battery storage system in the Netherlands and they are now expanding their operations across multiple markets.

Enemix Group is proud to partner exclusively with this forward-thinking organization to appoint a Grid Connection Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery energy storage systems (BESS) and transmission projects across various jurisdictions including Germany and beyond.

Responsibilities

As the Grid Connection Manager you will:

• Lead Grid Connection Projects: Manage grid connection and substation projects across multiple markets and voltage levels (110kV to 500kV).
• Act as a Key Liaison: Serve as the technical and commercial link between the client TSOs/DSOs EPC contractors and internal engineering teams.
• Oversee Project Delivery: Drive projects from planning and permitting through construction commissioning and energisation.
• Coordinate Multidisciplinary Teams: Oversee primary systems protection and control and civil works interfaces across international project teams.
• Manage Risk and Stakeholders: Handle project risks controls and stakeholder relationships across diverse regulatory environments.

Qualifications

To excel in this role you should have:

• Proven experience in grid connections substations or transmission infrastructure (110kV and above).
• A strong track record of working within or alongside TSO/DSO environments.
• Experience coordinating EPC contractors and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• The ability to manage stakeholders across different countries and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluency in English and German.
