Graphic designer Volunteer
Job Summary
Location: Berlin (remote-friendly)
Organization: For Everyone a Berlin-based nonprofit building a more connected and resilient society through creative workshops and community events.
Were looking for a Graphic Designer (Volunteer) to support our growing marketing and communications efforts with strong consistent and engaging visual design.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys translating ideas into visuals cares about brand consistency and wants to contribute their design skills to meaningful social impact. Youll collaborate closely with marketing copywriting and event teams to bring our projects and campaigns to life.
- Design weekly graphics for social media (Instagram LinkedIn etc.)
- Create digital and print materials for events workshops and community activities
- Edit photos as needed for campaigns and publications
- Ensure all visuals align with our brand identity and guidelines
- Maintain and organize our visual asset library
- Apply brand consistency across all channels and formats
- Support the evolution of visual templates and design systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing copywriting events research)
- Participate in team meetings and creative brainstorming sessions
- Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs efficiently
Youll be a great fit if you:
- Professional experience is a plus (not mandatory)
- Have a portfolio demonstrating strong typography layout and digital design skills
- Have a solid understanding of brand consistency
- Have basic knowledge of digital accessibility principles
- Have experience with photo editing
- Are highly organized with strong communication and time-management skills
- Are proficient in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign
- Are familiar with collaboration tools such as Slack Miro and Canva
- Can communicate clearly in English (German is a plus but not required)
- Want to use your design skills to support a nonprofit and community-driven mission
