With a team of around 50 skilled professionals the organization manages major civil engineering structural and road infrastructure projects locally. - Project Management & Steering: Take full ownership of planning and steering major traffic infrastructure components for a high-profile urban road development project.
- Mobility Concepts: Develop and implement measures to ensure smooth citywide mobility utilizing structured multi-zone traffic concepts.
- Owners Representative Role: Prepare coordinate and oversee construction activities directly on behalf of the client/public authority.
- Service & Contract Review: Verify approve and settle engineering service contracts (HOAI) while managing and documenting the use of public funding and subsidies.
- Permitting: Obtain and manage all necessary official permits and regulatory approvals.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Define milestones track project schedules and budgets and deliver concise status reports to key stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelors Masters or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering Traffic Engineering or a related field with a focus on road construction and traffic planning.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in planning and executing road and traffic infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of relevant technical standards regulatory frameworks and project management methodologies. Proven ability to optimize traffic flows.
- Nice-to-Have: Interest or experience in Environment-Sensitive Traffic Management (UVM).
- Language: Professional fluency in German (minimum C1 level; C2/native preferred).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills solution-oriented mindset accountability and a collaborative spirit.
- Client-Side Decision Making: Direct strategic control and high creative autonomy as an owners representative rather than acting as a traditional contractor.
