Our technology is complex peer-reviewed and genuinely worth writing about. Were looking for a freelance science and technical writer who can take a briefing dive deep into the subject matter and come back with content that is accurate compelling and publication-ready in both German and English.

This isnt ghostwriting for generalists. Its serious technical content that needs a serious writer.

What Youll Be Doing

• Whitepapers technical articles and scientific content that accurately represent our technology and research

• Content that makes complex deep-tech topics accessible to informed B2B audiences without dumbing them down

• Project-based collaboration: from briefing through expert reviews to final sign-off independently and with precision

• Interview subject-matter experts coordinate reviews and incorporate feedback through final approval

• Suggest ideas for diagrams infographics and data visualizations where they add value

• Output in both German and English publication-ready in both

What You Bring to the Team

• Several years of proven experience in scientific or technical writing ideally in deep-tech or a B2B technology environment

• A background in natural sciences engineering or a related technical field; genuine interest in eye tracking or related topics such as computer vision human-machine interaction or wearables.

• The ability to independently work through complex topics after a briefing. You ask the right questions and find your own way to the answer

• Flawless writing in German and English with a sharp eye for accuracy nuance and tone

• A structured reliable and precise way of working. You own a piece from first draft to final version

• High standards: you dont submit something you wouldnt put your name on.

• Being based in or near Vienna is a plus so we can meet in person every now and then

• Your CV

• An example of how you made complex technology or research accessible to a broader audience

• A short note on your contribution to each piece
