Firmware Engineer (fmd) for Embedded Automotive ASIP RISC-V

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to design develop and validate firmware for Application-Specific Instruction Processors (ASIP RISC-Vbased) used in automotive & industrial sensor signal conditioning actuator control and communication interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with system architects product definition and hardware development teams
• Contribute to the definition customization and optimization of ASIP (RISC-V-based) architectures
• Design and implement firmware for deeply embedded application-specific microcontrollers / DSPs
• Define and refine firmware requirements and firmware architecture
• Develop and execute unit tests integration tests and validation strategies
• Establish and maintain toolchains simulation environments and debug workflows
• Support performance analysis and optimization in constrained (real-time) environments
• Ensure compliance of the implementation with functional safety standards (ISO 26262)

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field
• Strong expertise in embedded C programming (bare-metal environments) & Assembler
• Proficiency with embedded development tools:
  • Compilers debuggers linkers
  • Simulators and emulators
  • Static analysis and testing tools
• Solid understanding of:
  • Memory-constrained and real-time systems
  • Low-level hardware interaction (register-level programming)
  • CPU architecture principles
• Experience with signal processing basics (e.g. FIR/IIR filters ADC data handling)
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for test automation and tooling
• Good understanding of ASPICE & ISO 26262 software development processes
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken) required
