Job Summary

Our client is an established European manufacturer of high-quality gantry milling machines serving customers across Germany. Its machines are used by leading companies across automotive energy aerospace and dual-use industries.

To strengthen the German service team we are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician (m/f/d) with a strong electrical/electronic or electromechanical background and hands-on experience with CNC milling / turning machines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical service and support at customer sites across Germany
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic faults on gantry milling machines
  • Perform inspections maintenance and repairs
  • Support machine installations and commissioning
  • Carry out structured fault analysis and ensure machines are fully operational before handover to the customer
  • Work independently on service assignments or together with another technician for larger interventions
  • Communicate directly with customers and provide professional technical support on site


Requirements

Your Profile

  • Completed technical vocational training ideally as an electrician electronics / mechatronics / electromechanical technician or comparable qualification
  • Minimum 23 years of relevant hands-on field service experience
  • Practical experience with CNC milling or turning machines; experience with portal/gantry milling machines is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls iTNC 530 TNC 640 or TNC7 experience is highly desirable
  • Strong electrical/electronic/electromechanical troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to fault finding
  • Comfortable working independently and dealing directly with customers
  • Friendly reliable calm and solution-oriented personality
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Germany during the working week
  • Fluency in either German or English; knowledge of both is an advantage
