Facility Operations Coordinator (all genders)

The Role:

As part of our Facilities team you will play an important role in ensuring our machinery equipment and site facilities remain safe reliable and operational. This is a varied hands-on position suited to someone with a strong technical mindset who enjoys identifying problems finding practical solutions and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a technical facility.

What you will be doing:

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on machinery equipment and site facilities.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment remains safe reliable and operational.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults carrying out appropriate repairs where possible.
• Support general facilities maintenance and practical site-related tasks as required.
• Respond proactively to maintenance issues and help minimise equipment downtime.
• Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the wider facility.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is practical technically minded and comfortable working independently to identify and resolve problems.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in the maintenance repair or servicing of machinery and equipment.
• A good mechanical understanding with electrical knowledge or experience considered a strong advantage.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing engineering or industrial environment.
• A relevant technical background or qualification ideally as an Industrial Mechanic Machinist Toolmaker Mechatronics Technician or similar.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• The ability to work independently identify issues and implement practical solutions.
• A flexible approach and willingness to undertake a variety of facilities and maintenance activities.
