What the job will look like
Each day youll enjoy a variety of challenges such as:
- Shaping Grünenthals sustainability reporting journey and driving transparency on topics that matter for patients society and the business.
- Leading the ongoing development of our ESG reporting framework in line with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Driving the Double Materiality Assessment process and helping translate sustainability priorities into meaningful business decisions.
- Building strong partnerships across functions to enhance ESG data quality accountability and reporting excellence.
- Orchestrating end-to-end reporting activities and collaborating with external auditors to ensure transparency compliance and audit readiness.
- Acting as a trusted advisor empowering colleagues across the organization through guidance knowledge sharing and ESG expertise.
What youll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive you should have:
- A university degree in Business Administration Economics Law Sustainability or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of relevant Experience in ESG sustainability reporting compliance governance or a comparable field combined with a genuine passion for driving positive impact.
- A solid understanding of non-financial reporting requirements and a curiosity to stay ahead of evolving regulatory developments.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to bring structure clarity and momentum to complex topics.
- An analytical mindset paired with strategic thinking and a talent for turning data into meaningful insights and business value.
- A collaborative and proactive approach enabling trusted partnerships across diverse stakeholders teams and functions.
- Fluency in German and English both written and spoken is essential for success in this role.
