About the Role

At Maersk we are transforming the future of logistics by connecting the world through seamless supply chains. As a Dispatcher - South you will play a critical role in ensuring freight moves efficiently across road rail and barge networks while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily dispatch operations across truck rail and barge transportation.

  • Monitor transport execution to achieve On Time Arrival (OTA) targets.

  • Validate accept and execute freight orders while maintaining stakeholder communication.

  • Optimize transport planning through vendor selection triangulation and mode selection.

  • Manage service providers to deliver best-in-class service and quality standards.

  • Proactively resolve operational exceptions and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with customs legal and transportation regulations.

  • Partner with procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in logistics transportation supply chain or freight forwarding operations.

  • Good understanding of inland transportation networks.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Customer-focused and results-oriented approach.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
