DE Legal Office Manager (Paralegal Project Management)

Job Summary
In this role you will serve as the central coordination point for the DE Legal Department managing day-to-day office operations while providing substantive paralegal support across legal litigation matters. You will liaise with external counsel and internal business and legal partners ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflows. You will oversee and drive cross-functional projects and champion simplification process improvements innovation and AI projects across the department.
The ideal candidate will combine strong paralegal skills with exceptional organizational and project management abilities thriving in a fast-paced environment and working autonomously to execute multiple time-sensitive projects. You must be comfortable managing competing priorities navigating ambiguity and delivering results with minimal direction. This role demands flexibility resourcefulness and an innovative spirit.
- Experience as a paralegal in legal program management or in legal case management
- Can work proactively and independently meet deadlines and deliver on projects and tasks
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferably in Law Legal Studies Business Administration or a related field; qualification as paralegal (Rechtsanwalts-/ Notarfachangestellte/r) is considered equivalent.
- Previous work experience as a paralegal or in a related legal support role with a multinational/Fortune 500 company or law firm.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and ability to utilize relevant tools (Excel Word other internal tools)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Strong judgment even in ambiguous situations and discretion with confidential matters
- Experience in relevant industries such as law customer service investigations or project management
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Experience in stakeholder management and communication management
- Experience using and building AI tools to simplify workflows
