Position: Chess Expert (1800 ELO) Game Reconstruction & Transcript Correction
Type: Contract
Compensation: $90/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate and correct speech-to-text errors in chess commentary transcripts. Ensure accuracy in piece names squares and moves.
- Develop complete game reconstructions from corrected transcripts using analysis boards like lichess or .
- Determine the completeness of transcripts in specifying full games. Identify minimal missing information if necessary.
- Collaborate asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve dataset quality. Work independently with flexible hours.
- Enhance the quality of chess datasets for AI research by providing detailed feedback on game reconstructions.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Rated 1800 ELO (FIDE or online equivalent).
- Fluent in reading algebraic notation.
- Strong ear for spoken chess commentary.
- Careful attention to detail.
