Buyer for Cabin Aftermarket (d/f/m)

This is a permanent job opportunity for a Buyer for Cabin Aftermarket (d/f/m) based in Hamburg Germany. You will join the Procurement Cabin (PC) commodity specifically the Procurement Cabin team for Aftersales for Monuments Floor to Floor and Cargo (PCRA).

Our team operates in a challenging and very dynamic environment. Our mission is two-fold: to mitigate Airbuss financial exposure related to in-service issues and to actively support the growth of Airbus and Satair in the highly competitive cabin service market.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Cabin Upgrade Services: Leading procurement activities for upgrade projects including launching RFQs negotiating supplier offers and reinforcing contractual conditions.

  • In-Service Issues & Retrofit: Handling contractual and commercial resolution with suppliers for in-service issues and damages.

  • Sourcing Activities: Participating in sourcing activities to negotiate aftersales-related contractual conditions with suppliers.

  • Contract Management: Monitoring and administering aftersales contractual conditions to ensure Airbus secures the best and most up-to-date terms.

  • Strategy Contribution: Contributing to shaping the Aftersales Procurement strategy and the overall Airbus sourcing strategy.

You will be at the core of a multi-functional network collaborating closely with S Programmes Operations Supply-Chain & Quality as well as the Linefit Procurement organization. Your role is crucial in delivering the best procurement service to the Aftersales business while maintaining an understanding of Linefit challenges and strategies.

Travels to Toulouse or to visit suppliers may be required.

Desired skills and qualifications
  • Education & Experience: Degree in Business Supply Chain or Engineering with up to 2 years of experience in procurement or aftermarket business (MRO OEM).

  • Teamwork: Collaborative player eager to contribute to a diverse network.

  • Mindset: Proactive adaptable and willing to build autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and organizational abilities; proficient in office software with basic ERP (SAP) knowledge.

  • Communication: Fluent English required; French or German skills preferred.
