YOUR TASKS

As a Building Technician you support our Facility Team in ensuring smooth and reliable site operations. You are the go-to person for practical facility topics and contribute your technical know-how and hands-on skills wherever quick reliable and pragmatic solutions are needed in day-to-day operations.

Your responsibilities include in particular:

• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance work in the building and on the technical infrastructure

• Working on electrical equipment and systems within the scope of your qualification

• Supporting general hands-on maintenance and repair tasks in daily site operations

• Supporting the execution and documentation of recurring inspection and control tasks e.g. on doors locks hold-open systems emergency lighting and door monitoring devices

• Troubleshooting initial assessment and where possible resolving issues in the building or with operating equipment

• Supporting the coordination of external service providers for maintenance repair and servicing work

YOUR SKILLS

• Ideally you have completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering e.g. as an electrician electrical installer electronics technician for energy and building technology or a comparable qualification. This is an advantage but not a must.

• Professional experience in building services facility maintenance technical maintenance or a comparable technical environment

• Good technical understanding and practical hands-on skills

• Independent reliable and solution-oriented way of working

• Sense of responsibility and a good eye for safety order and functionality

• Service-oriented attitude and enjoyment in supporting colleagues in their day-to-day work

• Class B driving licence is an advantage
