Banking and Treasury Specialist (mfd)

We are looking for a Banking and Treasury Specialist (m/f/d) to join our finance team in Leipzig with focusing on bank guarantees FX/hedging trade finance and payment operations. The position is a permanent and full-time role.

• Preparation of requests to the banks for issuance of the bank guarantees.

• Control of the timely issuance and check for the possible mistakes in the issued instrument.

• Maintenance of internal data / reports for the bank guarantees including creation and keeping updated the digital database for the bank guarantees.

• Control and communication with the bank of all related fees paid and debited for the bank guarantees.

• Preparation of internal fees allocation.

• Control of the terms of the transactions executed with agreed conditions beforehand.

• Control of transactions tenors and communication with the colleagues for the necessary adjustments.

• Maintenance of the internal data / respective reports.

• Control and complying execution of the terms of the current agreements

• Offer options for improvement of conditions

• Secure the functionality of the facilities

• support Operations in the negotiation on terms/conditions of LCs with clients and related confirmation with TAKRAF s banks.

• Pre-check of documentation and support to Operations to submit conform documents for payments

• Act as an operator to create transaction orders on bank accounts

• Control of timely execution of payment operations worldwide and interaction with the banks until execution is achieved.

• Control and update of the requested information with re to the legal documents or signatories KYC requirements

• Analysis and reporting of currently applied banking fees and charges initiation of possible improvements

• University degree in Finance

• Good knowledge of corporate finance cash management bank guarantees letters of credit hedging operations payments

• At least three years work experience in either corporate finance departments or corporate banking for the areas above

• Basic understanding of complex project execution

• Communication skills ability to work in a team and intercultural competence

• Integrity and confidentiality

• Analytical and structured way of working

• Independence self-organization ownership accountability and successful time management

• Diligence accuracy and a high level of self-control

• Proactive and solution oriented priority based approach.

• In-depth knowledge of MS Office products in particular Excel Word and Outlook SAP or S4 Hana is a plus.

• English language skills at level C1 - C2 (CEFR)
