The opportunity

HITACHI ENERGY GERMANY AG is seeking a motivated and analytical Bachelors student to undertake a thesis project focused on operational health management (Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement - BGM). This role offers a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges within a leading energy technology company.

How youll make an impact

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on current trends best practices and regulatory requirements in operational health management specifically tailored to the industrial sector
• Develop a comprehensive thesis proposal outlining research questions methodologies and expected outcomes in collaboration with an internal supervisor
• Collect and analyze relevant data potentially including employee surveys health-related metrics and company policies
• Identify opportunities for optimization and innovation within HITACHI ENERGY GERMANY AGs existing BGM framework
• Propose concrete recommendations and strategies for enhancing employee well-being reducing absenteeism and promoting a healthy work environment.
• Present findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders within the company
• Complete a Bachelors thesis of high academic quality within the agreed-upon timeframe

Your background

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program in Business Administration Human Resources Health Management Psychology or a related field
• Strong academic record and a keen interest in operational health management
• Excellent research analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in German and English both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively
• Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods is a plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
