Assistant Store Manager WM Berlin

We are looking for a new Assistant Store Manager W/M for our new Salomon store in Berlin!

Main Purpose:

As true support of the store manager the ASM contributes to:

• Meets financial targets
• Coach & lead the team to deliver the best shopping experience
• Contribute to ensure the highest standard of operational excellence
• Is autonomous in store management in the absence of the store manager

The Assistant Store Manager needs to be hands-on ensuring that daily tasks are done and overseeing all expertise available in store.

Key responsibilities:

Performance management

• Actively participates to reach targets and optimize costs
• Guarantee an outstanding service excellence
• Drive the implementation of commercial operations & store animations

Customer service excellence

• Act as a role model instilling the importance of customer service to the team and follow up through training
• Present and visible on the shop floor interacting with customers and team members
• Support the store manager in the execution of marketing activations and VM guidelines to meet Brand and store standards (except Flagship)
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally

Team management

• Support the manager in the daily team animation
• Lead by example on being on the floor and coaching to achieve customer service excellence
• With the support of the training referent motivate and coach the team on product expertise & signature Service excellence
• Participate to recruit sales associates build & support newcomers with a strong onboarding path
• Promote a positive cooperative and engaged work climate
• Support store manager to identify underperformers to put in place appropriate action plan through individual KPIs management at first
• Support store manager to identify talents within the team

Operational management

• Ensure the VM guidelines and brand image are respected (except Flagship)
• Participate to stock management: replenishment deliveries PI (except Flagship)
• Ensure SOP excellence is respected (cash desk H&S aftersales)
• Contribute to KPIs analysis and corrective action plan

Relay of the store manager

• Replace the store manager during their absence
• Take 4 walls operational decisions
• Be the link between the team & the manager
• Be proactive to propose constructive action plans

Qualifications :

Your profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in retail management
• Adhere to SOP excellence
• KPIS obsessed
• Business & customer service driven mindset
• Experience in People management
• Role modeling positive mindset solutions oriented
• Coaching & Feedback culture
• Fluent in English with a good working level of German
