Application Scientist, Confectionery & Bakery

We arecurrently seeking an Application Scientist to join our Technical Service close cooperation with R&D and Sales you will develop new product concepts are a competent partner for our customers and the technical support to our sales this key role you will collaborate with a global network of colleagues to enhance our product portfolio and bring innovative solutions to life for our customers.

What youll do:

• Lead and execute customer-specific projects from the development of innovative application formulations in the lab to the optimization of production processes
• Provide high-level product recommendations for our key segments Confectionery & Bakery leveraging Sensients extensive color portfolio to meet customer needs
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive business growth through technical expertise at customer presentations product launches prototyping and application trials
• Design and conduct technical seminars and trainings presenting cutting-edge color concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners
• Act as a technical ambassador for Sensient Food Colors at international trade fairs and industry exhibitions
• Contribute your expertise to national and international project teams to foster innovation and cross-functional excellence

What youll bring:

• University degree in Chemistry Food Technology or a related field
• Solid professional experience in R&D paired with a deep understanding of the development production and application of food ingredients
• Excellent communication skills in English proficiency in German is considered a distinct advantage
• A creative and innovative mindset with the ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently on autonomous projects
• Flexibility and a passion for travel as you will regularly visit and support our customers on-site
• Strong MS Office skills; previous experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system is a plus
