The role

As Quality Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. As Quality Manager you will develop implement and manage quality assurance policies and procedures that align with our companys objectives and ensure that our packaging solutions consistently exceed customer expectations. You will lead and have oversight of employees providing guidance and support in the execution of quality control processes throughout the manufacturing cycle. You will have a deep understanding of quality management systems an analytical mindset and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production engineering and supply chain to identify and resolve quality-related issues in a proactive manner to ensure we meet customer expectations.

As a Quality Manager at IPL Schoeller you will:

  • Drive and promote a culture of delivery of top quality product at all times

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.

  • Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals managing performance and providing training and development.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality-related matters and concerns.

  • Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.

  • Participate in projects providing quality insights and delivering quality goals as part of the process

  • Promote and drive a cross-functional culture of accountability for all matters relating to quality of product

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelors degree in Quality Management Engineering or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in quality management preferably in the manufacturing sector

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems including ISO standards.

  • Proven experience leading quality teams and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

  • Proven experience leading audits (Customer & Regulatory)

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in the industry

  • Background in customer-facing interaction; solving quality issues new projects etc.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all levels of staff

  • Customer centric ability to connect interact and build relationships.
