We are seeking a Project Supply Manager to be responsible for supplier management for base/preferred suppliers as well as to request For Quotations (RFQ) negotiations and contract management.
In this role the selected candidate will also oversee the analysis of suppliers competition benchmarks and spend etc; whilst being responsible for supplier management in line with strategy process and KPIs for assigned suppliers. This role is located in Cholet France.
- Identify suppliers drive sourcing and contacting based on business need in line with supplier management strategies
- Drives compliance to category strategy supplier base plan supplier management processes contracts and best practices.
- Participates in target setting follow up and corrective action
- Ensures correct usage of relevant tools
- Develops and maintains strong stakeholder management relationships. Communicates results and acts as a proactive Business Partner
- Shares good practices and facilitate networking on site
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with global or international experience in sourcing and supplier base management.
- Fluency in French and English in language both written and verbally are required.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office.
- Mechanical or technical background is essential: Ability to analyze a mechanical drawing and technical specifications.
- The ability to write and explain a technical and functional specifications list (URS).
- SAP experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Awareness of lean manufacturing.
- Customer-focused mindset and project oriented.
- Self-driven proactive and structured approach to work.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize among them.
- Ability to work independently and take on additional tasks.
- Good communication skills and a team-player.
- Good energy positive and ready for new opportunities in changing environment.
