Lab test means integration tests engineer (mf)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Lab Test Means Integration Engineer (f/m) to join our team based in Toulouse France.

You will join the Flight and Integration Test Centre responsible for developing and deploying instrumentation components for test rigs. You will drive the testing and deployment of components across test facilities to support avionics programs.

Your challenges:

• Prepare execute and document hardware/software testing and deployment activities for components.
• Define technical deliverables and manage purchase orders for subcontracted test and deployment activities.
• Update the test matrix and proactively escalate associated project risks and opportunities.
• Perform defect analysis test bug fixes and suggest improvements for the integration test bench.
• Harmonize test procedures and ways of working with test facilities in Filton Hamburg and Bremen.

Your boarding pass:

• Background in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in lab test means or instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of test system mechanical and electrical interfaces (racks connectors cabling).
• Solid understanding of standard avionics protocols and signals (A429 AFDX discretes analog CAN).
• Foundational IT skills (networking computing machines cybersecurity rules) and basic programming knowledge.
• Intermediate level of English to collaborate in an international environment.
