Axis has something great to offer! An exciting and professional challenge in our Bagneux (Paris) office in France.
We are now looking for our new colleague to fill the opening as HR Generalist in France.
The position is a maternity cover until end of February.
YOUR FUTURE TEAM
You will join a dynamic and virtual Southern Europe HR team (France Spain and Italy) working alongside our HR Manager and three Office Managers based in each of these countries. Beyond your immediate regional team you will be part of a broader collaborative EMEA HR networka great platform for exchanging best practices and staying connected with colleagues across the entire zone.

The HR Generalist isa key partner to both employees and managers overseeing a wide range of HR functions. From day-to-day administration and employee relations to strategic projects and talent developmentthe HR Generalist isinstrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment that aligns with our company culture and values.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Operations
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle from drafting employment contracts and offer letters to managing the offboarding process.
- Oversee the onboarding and integration of new hires ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Act as the main point of contact for our payroll provider ensuringtimelyandaccuratepayroll processing for all countries within the scope.
- Maintainaccurateand up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Employee & Labor Relations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers providing guidance and support on daily HR-related queries policies and procedures.
- Manage collective relations with the Works Council (or equivalent social bodies) including preparing meetingsfacilitatingcommunication andparticipatingin the negotiation of collective agreements.
- Ensure compliance with locallabourlaws and regulations across all countries in the region.
Talent Management & Development
- Partner with managers toidentifytraining needs and deploy the annual training plan.
- Facilitate development discussions with managers and employees to support career growth and performance.
- Activelyparticipatein the recruitment process interviewing candidates in collaboration with the Talent Acquisitionteamand hiring managers.
HR Projects & Communication
- Lead or contribute to various HR projects such as the implementation of new HR processes tools or benefits programs.
- Develop andshare diversecommunicationsto effectively inform employees about HR initiatives policy updates and company news.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve HR efficiency and enhancethe employeeexperience.
