Wezen is a tech startup within the 87seconds Group. Created in 2017 our 30 members now help more than 50 actors communicate across the digital world.

At Wezen we reinvent semantic content (text) production to make it simple. Thats why we are building a SaaS platform where content owners copywriters and translators collaborate in an innovative way to produce content at the highest quality level. Our key innovations allow hidden content structures and correlations to be revealed.

Wezen has recently reached a decisive milestone with major clients from the luxury sector and CAC40 companies purchasing Enterprise licenses. This has fueled our ambition to build a European leader in content management software.

As a Fullstack Developer you will join our multidisciplinary development team and contribute to the design development and continuous improvement of Wezens SaaS platform.

You will work across the stack from functional design and architecture to implementation deployment and production operations.

• Design and develop new features in collaboration with Product Design and Engineering teams.
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
• Write clean maintainable and high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the product and the codebase.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java Spring Hibernate and Lombok.
• Build and improve frontend features using Angular.
• Work with MySQL and Redis to design and optimize data storage and access.
• Contribute to our broader multi-stack environment including and PHP/Laravel when relevant.

• Deploy and operate applications in AWS environments.
• Contribute to our DevOps culture: You build it you run it.
• Monitor and improve application reliability performance and scalability.
• Take part in continuous improvement of our development and deployment processes.

• Work within a Feature Team following Agile principles.

• Experience developing software either professionally or through significant personal projects.
• Good knowledge of Java and/or modern web development.
• Experience working across both frontend and backend technologies.
• Good understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Business-level English both written and spoken to work in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
• A genuine interest in software development technology and continuous learning.
• A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Experience with Spring / Hibernate and Angular.
• Experience with AWS or cloud environments.
• Experience with MySQL Redis or other relational / NoSQL databases.
• Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel or other programming languages.
• Experience with major CMS technologies such as Drupal Adobe Experience Manager or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Previous experience in an international environment.
• Experience working in a tech startup or scale-up.

• Contract: Permanent contract (CDI) Position available ASAP.
