Finance processes & learning 6 months Intership (WM)

Since end of 2021 Lesaffre has engaged a multi-year transformation Program for the Finance function with an overarching goal of improving the overall efficiency of Finance while optimizing the quality of service delivered to the business. Named 3F (Finance for the Future) this Program is structured around 10 cross-regional transformational initiatives which revolve around three major pillars:

• Redesign and reengineer Finance operations and processes
• Capture all opportunities for automation and digitization across Finance processes
• Empower Finance practitioners with the necessary best practices tools resources etc.

In this context we are looking for an intern that will be supporting the business transformation of the finance domain. The focus will be on process modeling supervision and the enrichment and digitalization of knowledge/training. The main responsibilities of the intern will be:

Process Modeling:

• Analyze and document the existing finance processes in detail.
• Develop process models using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Contribute to identification of areas for process optimization and automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and validate the process models.

Digitalized Knowledge Content Creation:

• Identify the current knowledge and training materials available in the finance domain.
• Develop engaging and interactive digital content such as e-learning modules videos and interactive simulations.
• Ensure the content is user-friendly accessible and aligned with the organizations learning and development objectives.
• Collaborate with key users to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content.

Supervision of Process Performance Indicators:

• Develop a monitoring and reporting framework to track the performance of the processes.
• Analyze process performance data and provide insights to the management team.
• Contribute to the process improvements based on the performance analysis.

Qualifications :

• Pursuing a degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in process modeling tools and techniques.
• Experience in creating digital content and e-learning materials.
• Familiarity with performance management and reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an international context.

Desired skills

• Knowledge of finance domain and business processes.
• Experience in business process improvement and transformation.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Understanding of change management principles.
• Passion for innovation and digital transformation.
• Advanced level of English.
