Morgan Stanley is hiring an Analyst or Associate for its London based Credit Trading desk supporting market making across European High Yield bonds & CDS. The desk serves a client base spanning major asset managers hedge funds insurers and pension funds. Working alongside senior traders you will help manage risk develop credit commentary and support the pricing and execution of client business. The position sits within the front office and is regulated giving you direct exposure to live markets and a solid foundation for a long term career in credit trading.

What will you be doing
- Supporting the pricing and risk management of positions across the European High Yield bond & CDS book.
- Analyzing credits and producing written commentary to surface trading opportunities for clients and the desk.
- Partnering with sales to price incoming client inquiries and relay trading levels as markets move.
- Putting together clear summaries and materials for sales traders and clients covering key credit developments.
- Working alongside desk analysts to form and refine views across names.
- Building relationships with market counterparts such as portfolio managers and traders.
- Upholding the highest standards of compliance in line with Morgan Stanleys core values.
What were looking for:
- Direct exposure to trading high yield bonds.
- A solid grasp of credit fundamentals paired with the confidence to engage directly with clients.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to stay composed under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as finance economics or mathematics.
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Familiarity with trading and risk management systems or market data platforms such as Bloomberg.
- Additional European language skills while not essential for the role.
