Data Center Operations Technician

We are hiring a Datacenter Ops Technician to support hardware IT systems and cabling operations across company and customer data centers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented technically curious and eager to grow in data center infrastructure and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install stage and power up/down servers racks hard drives and switches.
• Perform basic hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues quickly.
• Handle tickets in line with SLAs/KPIs and escalate incidents when necessary.
• Follow safety protocols daily briefings and operational checklists.
• Maintain a clean organized data center environment and ensure proper documentation (SOPs KB articles logs).
• Collaborate with technicians and internal teams to support smooth operations.

What Were Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of Experience in server hardware system components and failure types within a Datacenter Environment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools firmware updates or imaging processes.
• Should be able to communicate in English.
• Experience with Linux/Windows environments; scripting skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of virtual machines PXE or data center tools is an advantage.
• Certifications like CompTIA A Server or equivalent training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders stand/walk for long periods and follow safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork attitude with the ability to work independently when required.
