Your Role

As a C Developer at ALTEN you will design develop and optimize high-performance software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams. Your work will directly impact projects for industry-leading clients.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Design

Analyze technical specifications to define software requirements.

Design scalable and efficient C architectures and conduct feasibility studies.

Propose and validate technical solutions with stakeholders.

Development

Develop high-quality C applications following industry best practices.

Optimize code for performance memory management and thread safety.

Model design and implement databases and backend systems.

Testing & Maintenance

Write and execute unit integration and performance tests (e.g. GoogleTest JMeter).

Debug and refine existing C systems in collaboration with product teams.

Ensure code reliability security and maintainability.

Documentation

Produce clear technical documentation for internal and client use.

Qualifications :

Your Profile

Required Qualifications

Education: Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional C development (internships count for junior roles).

Technical Skills:

Expertise in C (modern C11/14/17/20 STL templates multithreading).

Strong knowledge of OOP design patterns and data structures.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).
