Job Summary
We are recruiting an experienced Environmental & Social Specialist to support environmental and social compliance across multiple transportation infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will monitor implementation of Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs) stakeholder engagement activities grievance mechanisms and safeguard compliance throughout construction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor implementation of environmental and social safeguards.
- Conduct environmental and social compliance inspections.
- Support stakeholder consultations.
- Monitor grievance redress mechanisms.
- Monitor labour management gender and social inclusion measures.
- Prepare environmental and social monitoring reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Environmental Science Social Science or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience.
- Experience conducting environmental and/or social safeguard monitoring on construction projects.
- Experience working with local communities and vulnerable groups.
- Strong reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
