Employ Global is recruiting an experienced Process Services Operator for an international energy services client. This opportunity suits a technically capable operator with hands-on experience in nitrogen pumping nitrogen/helium leak testing and process maintenance services.

The opportunity

Working under the field supervisor you will prepare and operate specialist equipment monitor operating conditions and support the safe completion of process work scopes. You will operate independently within your assessed competency and approved job procedures.

Your responsibilities

• Perform nitrogen pumping nitrogen purging nitrogen/helium leak testing and pipe-freezing activities within your competency.
• Rig up and rig down process services equipment to approved procedures.
• Operate nitrogen pumps Haskel pumps and associated auxiliary equipment.
• Check hoses treating iron fittings and connections for condition compatibility and correct pressure ratings.
• Complete daily inspections pre-use checks and authorised maintenance.
• Perform basic operational calculations and record test results.
• Follow permit-to-work isolation and pressure-control requirements.
• Apply controls for nitrogen exposure oxygen-deficient atmospheres and cryogenic hazards where applicable.
• Participate in toolbox talks task risk assessments and hazardous-substance assessments.
• Report equipment defects and abnormal operating conditions promptly.
• Maintain accurate field records and support yard preparation and post-job activities.
• Stop work and alert the supervisor when conditions are unsafe.

What you will bring

• At least one year of experience operating relevant process services equipment independently.
• Practical experience with nitrogen pumping purging and nitrogen/helium leak testing.
• Relevant pipe-freezing experience and a sound mechanical background.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and safe handling of pressurised equipment.
• The ability to follow technical procedures perform basic calculations and prepare clear reports.
• Relevant safety training and assignment-specific certifications; offshore survival training and an accepted medical certificate where required.

Contract details

Location: Equatorial Guinea. Contract duration start date work pattern and remuneration will be confirmed during recruitment. Travel accommodation and mobilisation arrangements will be explained before acceptance. Appointment is subject to required work authorisation and role-specific competency and safety checks.
