Turing is looking for a remote Machine Learning Engineer on behalf of a highly qualified industry veteran who will require some assistance to investigate other learning paradigms for generalization beyond the currently accessible supervision. The developer will ensure that the project is on par with top-tier machine learning or natural language processing standards. This will be a full-time role that requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone. It is an excellent opportunity for developers to work on and research cutting-edge technologies with the potential to revolutionize the ML industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and implement robust, reusable, and maintainable code
- Finetune GPT-2 to ensure optimum performance on a new task
- Address the issue that language models require significant prompt engineering/tuning to do well
- Monitor and suggest solutions to resolve misalignment between the language model pre-training objective and performance on valuable tasks
- Reducing the misalignment by training on data that better resembles the tasks
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an ML engineer
- Extensive experience with data engineering and Machine Learning
- Demonstrable skills with Python, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Deep Learning Algorithms
- Familiarity with Artificial Neural Networks and Reinforcement Learning
- Solid expertise with Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence
- Prolific research abilities are preferred
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage demanding workload with minimal supervision
